Christmas 2014 was a year for musicals, 80s films, modern classics, vintage, and tacky 90s pop so it's pretty clear that my friends and family know me incredibly well. In fact, you could easily take "Christmas" out of that sentence and it would sum my year up nicely. I feel so ridiculously lucky and I'm so grateful that I'm able to spend Christmas with such amazing people every single year. I love my friends and family a stupid amount and, although I feel that every day of the year, it becomes extra clear round about Christmas. This year's Christmas is kinda tinged with sadness for a couple of reasons but it's been a lovely day anyway, if not quite reflective. I hope you all had a wonderful day with the people you love and that New Year treats you just as nicely. Tell me how your Christmas was and what your plans are for NYE!
Merry Christmas! ♥
Lots of love, Cat

DeleteMerry Christmas (for yesterday)! It sounds like you had a wonderful day. Christmas is always a very reflective time of the year for some reason, but it's lovely in the sense you spend time with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteThe Vintage Tea Party Book sounds perfect! I can also relate to watching loads of 80s movies this year. I found out my friend hasn't seen any of John Hughes' films, so on NYE I'm forcing her to watch The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink & Ferris Bueller's Day Off with me. :D
It's such a beautiful book! I can't wait to have a good look through it. :D
DeleteJohn Hughes is easily my favourite screenwriter and director - I can't believe your friend hasn't seen any of his films! xx
