Letters To Autumn

Dear Autumn,

You're my favourite season. I hope you feel loved because, recently, I've been realising just how important that can be. I've been having moments where I start to doubt my importance to people but I snap out of it when I realise that I have the best family and friends a girl could wish for. The other night, I had a down moment as I scrolled through Snapchat and saw everyone out getting drunk, as I lay in bed teaching myself Dutch. It was only when I woke up the next day that I realised I had forgotten what is really important. I had let my priorities get all twisted and Autumn, you're gradually straightening them out.

Lots of love, Cat

  1. I clicked on this post because I automatically recognised Carrie's idea. I think you did a lovely take on it. It really is a wonderful season - a lot of people don't appreciate the beauty because of all the rain.

If you ever need any help with your Dutch, let me know! :) Why are you studying it?

    1. Awh thank you! I've been wanting to learn another language for a while and Dutch seemed like a good one because I'm hoping to visit Amsterdam one day. ^_^ xx

  2. Carrie Hope Fletcher has done a brilliant job of Letters to Autumn and so have you :) I've been writing letters to Autumn in my notebooks and am definitely going to do a Letters to Winter post when Winter eventually arrives.
Hope the Dutch is going well! I started teaching myself Dutch in July and really love the language so far. xx

  3. Lovely, I can relate. The only problem is I always start missing the summer toward the end of October.

    1. I'm really not a big fan of Summer so I don't miss it during the Autumn. I do sometimes miss getting up when it's light out, though, because it's so dark when I leave for school. :( xx
