Reading:
I'm trying to get used to reading classics because I'll be reading a lot of them throughout the year for Advanced Higher English so, at the moment, I'm reading Breakfast At Tiffany's by Truman Capote. I'm about a third of the way through it and so far, I'm really enjoying it. ^_^ It's a bit different from what I'm used to but I'm not struggling with the language as much I thought I would and I'm starting to love the way it's written.
Watching:
As I said in my last 'Currently I'm...' post (HERE), all of my favourite TV shows seemed to end simultaneously over the past few weeks. Now, I'm down to only having season 3 of Catfish to watch every week. I absolutely love Catfish and season 3 is incredible so far, so it's not all bad. :P As for YouTube, I discovered the amazing Mark Ludford recently and his videos have been playing non-stop ever since. He has a really unique vlogging and editing style and I love him quite a lot...
Listening To:
Let's just go back a few years, to the time between 2007 and 2010: I was a pre-teen, in the middle of a serious Fall Out Boy obsession (which I am still firmly in), watching Scuzz on a Sunday afternoon. Nothing good had come on for a while and then Good Charlotte's 'Girls & Boys' started. I watched the full video, thinking 'this band is weird...I love them' and then proceeded to buy their CD 'The Young and the Hopeless' the next day. I bought all of their other CDs within a couple of months and bought every other CD as they were released (I pre-ordered Cardiology literally a year before it was out). I really really really loved Good Charlotte for quite a few years but then I decided that I was out of that phase so at the end of 2013, I gave my CDs to my friend, Beka. Then, at the end of May this year, I borrowed them back and put them back where they belonged; on my iTunes. Predictably, I've been listening to Good Charlotte a lot recently and it feels amazing to have them back in my life. (I wrote more about this in a older post, 'Music Memories' - here.)
Eating:
If you follow me on twitter, you'll probably know about my recent battle with a 1kg tub of Greek yoghurt. I asked my mum to buy me some Greek yoghurt and she came home with 1000g of it and because it's dairy, it had to be eaten within 3 days of it being opened. Long story short; I ate a kilogram of Greek yoghurt in 3 days.
Loving:
Having a separate twitter for my blog! :D I still have my personal twitter and I'm using it just as much as usual but now, I have a second twitter for blog-related things. It's lovely to be able to share my blog a bit more on twitter and since getting my separate account, I've been talking to my bloggy friends a lot more. You can find my personal twitter HERE and my blog twitter HERE!
Enjoying:
PROM!! On the 6th of June (yesterday!), I went to my school's prom and it was absolutely amazing. I'm planning to do a post about my dress, hair and makeup in the next couple of weeks but basically, I had a wonderful night. It was so lovely to see everyone looking so gorgeous! I think last night was the first time I've still been out when it starts to get light in the morning (4am) which was a nice experience; the sky was beautiful at that time in the morning. ^_^
Lots of love, Cat

Thank you! ^_^ xx
DeleteAh! Greek Yoghurt! I've always loved Greek Yoghurt but my mum recently started buying it with honey mixed in which is surprisingly really nice. As for Breakfast at Tiffany's; I had no idea it was a book. I'd heard of the film and have seen bits of it, but I never knew that it is a book too. I'll have to go looking for it.

I've been a Greek yoghurt addict for a couple of years now...it's a huge part of my diet! :'D I can only eat it if there's honey in it but I add it myself. :P xx
DeleteI still don't know how I feel about Greek yoghurt. I add honey and blueberries and...it's okay...meh. Trying to love it but it's not going well so far ;) Looking forward to hearing about your prom! xx
ReplyDeleteI eat gallons of Greek yoghurt with honey and blueberries. :'D The prom post is coming soon! xx
