Monthly Round-Up - January 2014

2014 has started off really quite well for me; I got 6 amazing books read, spent some time with my friends and somehow lived through my prelims (barely, though). They'll be some sort of reading wrap-up post up at some point in February and hopefully a monthly favourites (rare, I know) but, for now, I thought I would put all of January's posts in one little package for you. I hope January was great for you and that February is even better. ^_^

I hope the past month has treated you well! What was your favourite post from January?
Lots of love, Cat

  1. Hmm, I've heard of "Anna and the French Kiss" but I've never picked it up. What's it about?

    1. You should definitely try it! :D It's about a girl called Anna who is sent to a school in Paris by her dad, completely alone. She meets some amazing people and explores Paris - Stephanie Perkins manages to build up Paris wonderfully. I'm not going to give anything away but if you like books about travel, boarding schools or romance, you will fall in love with Anna and the French Kiss. xx

  2. Wow, January flew!
I haven't read many of the books in your pictures but I spy a book I've been wanting for ages now... Ketchup Clouds just keeps cropping up on blogs but any of the book stores I've been to don't have it! *sighs*
Anyhoo, hope you have a great February!

    1. It really did! My prelims made it go even quicker - it felt like I spent the full month studying. :(
I haven't read Ketchup Clouds yet but, like you, I've heard loads about it online. I'll probably read it next month - I can't wait! xx

    1. I'm glad you like the book posts - I was a little nervous about introducing more book posts into the blog because it used to be so beauty-based, but I think it's going down well. ^_^ xx
